The Best Designed Stand category at INNOVATE GERMANY recognizes projects that demonstrate outstanding visual presentation, stand design, and visitor engagement within the exhibition hall. This category focuses on how effectively participants present and communicate their projects through creative and well-organized exhibition stands.
This award is open to Junior and Senior participants, evaluated separately according to age-appropriate expectations.
Important:
This category applies only to project-based categories such as Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, AI & Computer Science, and Game Design.
Art & Digital Design and Creative Writing projects are not included in the Best Designed Stand category.
Purpose of the Category
The Best Designed Stand category aims to encourage participants to:
- Design clear, creative, and attractive exhibition stands
- Present their projects in an engaging and accessible way
- Communicate ideas visually and interactively
- Enhance the overall visitor experience within the exhibition hall
The emphasis is on presentation quality and interaction, not on artistic作品 or literary performance.
Evaluation Criteria
Projects may be evaluated based on the following elements:
- Quality and clarity of the project poster
- Overall table and stand design
- Organization, cleanliness, and visual coherence
- Presentation of prototypes or physical models
- Interaction with visitors and explanation of the project
- Supporting materials, such as:
- Flyers or brochures
- Small project-related giveaway items
- Short videos showing the project development process
(displayed via tablet or laptop)
All materials must comply with INNOVATE GERMANY safety and ethics regulations.
Voting Process
- The Best Designed Stand award is determined through digital voting
- Voting is open to:
- Participating students
- Exhibition visitors
- Voting takes place in the exhibition hall during a designated time period announced by INNOVATE GERMANY
- Junior and Senior projects are voted on separately
Each visitor or participant may vote according to the official voting rules announced on-site.
Ethics & Fair Presentation
- Stand content must be appropriate for all audiences
- Displays must be honest and reflect the actual project
- Disruptive, unsafe, or misleading presentations are not permitted
Failure to comply may result in exclusion from this category.
